Yeti: Palo Duro Canyon

On location in the Texas Panhandle, I dropped into the red rock road crawling towards camp in four-wheel drive. I was deep in the Palo Duro canyon to document the story of hunters of both past and present for Yeti. When the sun goes down the temperature drops you find out quickly how important fire is to survival in such an unrelenting place. The roaring fire and whiskey warms the soul. First light brings energy and everything is on the move. The wind rips down the canyon walls and the rattlesnakes buzz to warn you away, as you traverse the game trails in search of Audad.
